Everyone is talking about High Antioxidant Meal Replacement
Understandably! With the lifestyle study now complete, the average weight lost by the 50 participants was 31.3 pounds per person, and average waist reduction was 5.8 inches! While we are all celebrating the weight loss and the incredible product, I would like to celebrate something many people are not bragging about – the price.
High Antioxidant Meal Replacement Equals Highest Value
The High Antioxidant Meal Replacement is the highest valued product at $140 shipped. This is because the company has held to one of its initial philosophies. They aggressively negotiate cost, overhead and product pricing, but never negotiate the excellence of the product itself.
For example, the Whey Protein Isolate that’s used in our shake is the purest form of whey protein. The High Antioxidant Meal Replacement contains 4.5% more protein, has 4% less fat, and contains 4.8% less lactose than the cheaper whey protein concentrate. This philosophy of never yielding on quality has served the company, the distributors, and most importantly, our consumers.
Let’s get a better perspective on the price by doing the math:
- The High Antioxidant Meal Replacement costs $5.00 a serving (28 servings per bag divided by $140).
- If you have one shake per day and spread the cost over an entire year, the total annual cost would be $1,825.00.
- On average, a fast food meal costs $6.00.
- If you spread that cost over a year’s time, the total is $2,190.00.
- You save $365 annually by drinking the High Antioxidant Meal Replacement.
Dr. Adam Drewnoski, Director of the Center for Public Health Nutrition at the University of Washington, has determined that “foods produced from subsidized crops, such as French fries and soda, cost about five times less per calorie than unsubsidized foods, such as broccoli and fruit juices.”
No wonder fast food is so predominant.
- Americans now spend more money on fast food than on higher education, personal computers, computer software or new cars.
- They spend more money on fast food than on movies, books, magazines, newspapers, videos and recorded music combined.
- A third of the kids between 6-14 years of age eat fast food every day.
- And guess who’s the second most recognizable face after Santa Claus. Not President Obama, not a music pop star or a famous sports figure. It’s Ronald McDonald.
If you avoid fast food and opt for healthy alternatives, I applaud your efforts, but the price per meal will dramatically go up.
Last year, Dr. Drewnowski led a study, published in The Journal of the American Dietetic Association, comparing the prices of 370 foods sold at supermarkets in the Seattle area. The study showed that “energy dense” junk foods, which pack the most calories and fewest nutrients per gram, were far less expensive than nutrient-rich, lower-calorie foods like fruits and vegetables.
The prices of the most healthful foods surged 19.5% over the two-year study period, while the junk food prices dropped 1.8%.
Even in a healthy food comparison, our $5.00 per high antioxidant meal replacement shake is a better value. As Dr. Kennedy has reminded us many times, “the cost of this shake should be considered a grocery expense.” Since the shake replaces a meal, our grocery list should diminish accordingly. And as part of a chocolate diet, it will probably reduce your cravings for other treats, since it is one.
Hands down, we win in the price department when compared to fast food or healthy food, but consider the increased value when you factor in the product and its long-term effects.
- How much more expensive would the healthy alternatives be if you calculated the amount of fruits and vegetables it would take to compared with our 56,500 ORACfn?
- What would the price of fast food actually be when you factor in the eventual medical and health care costs from eating those unhealthy choices?
A recent Center for Disease Control published study indicates that the United States spends close to $150 billion on obesity, about the same as smoking. They also found that obese patients spend about $1400 more per year on medical expenses than does their slimmer counter parts. If you’re a Medicare recipient, that number goes up because their obesity was often coupled with multiple co-morbidities such as diabetes, cancer, arthritis, cardiovascular disease or stroke.
How much does America spend for each obese person? A weight loss organization called Wellspring recently completed a study that followed overall lifetime obesity costs for a person from the age of 18 until death. The results showed that if you track every single American who is currently overweight and added up the costs; it would come to a whopping combined figure of $297,951,964,800! That’s $532,057.08 per obese American.
- How inexpensive would our shake be when you consider its health producing benefits?
- What dollar amount would people put on a product that takes the burden of weight off their shoulders – and bellies – and helps them feel good about themselves physically, mentally and emotionally?
Just do the math! I truly believe, after all the analysis, that this High Antioxidant Meal Replacement is our best-valued product.
